Gemini Arabians

Gemini Arabians owned by Khaitan Holdings, featuring the greatest line-up of legends ever put together, it took the excitement of a T20 tournament to the next level. The UAE was the first associate member of the ICC to launch a T20 league of such high international stature. The tournament is made up of six teams in its first year, with a total of 90 players taking part - 15 members per squad. The players must all have been former international cricketers who are now retired from all forms of the professional sport. The MCL has received a 10-year approval from the Emirates Cricket Board and inaugural matches of the tournament held in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. It is a cricket fan’s dream come true, the inaugural Masters Champions League was the biggest ever star-studded cricket tournament.

MCL was an instant hit and fans lapped up all the action. From 28th January when the legendary Virender Sehwag hit the first ball of the tournament for a mighty six, to the final on 13th February where Rana Naved's hattrick gave our team emerged as Undisputed Champions after going undefeated throughout the tournament and Gemini Arabians the title. Fans fervently rooted for and generously displayed their affection for all their heroes. Going by the quality of cricket, the intensity of the competition and the huge interest generated among fans, MCL looks set to grow from strength to strength. MCL is gearing up to come back bigger and stronger in the seasons to come.
